Peak Performance Buoyancy

It is all about enjoying yourself while scuba diving. Being comfortable in the water helps you to enjoy the dives you do. For being comfortable and able to relax you need to be in control of your buoyancy. You determine your position in the water and all it takes is proper buoyancy control. We know, it seems extremely hard in the beginning, but, believe me, all it takes is some tips and try-outs during some more dive training. When signing up for the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty we take you out on 2 open water dives where you will learn how to finetune your buoyancy, how to distribute your weights better and more effective and how to get the most results out of the way you swim and behave under water. This course is the absolute highest rated specialty between instructors in terms of value for money for beginning divers. This course enables you to relax more while you dive which will result in a lower air consumption which can lead to extending your bottom time if you want to.

The Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty includes 2 dives and only takes you one full day. To guarantee the quality dive training you deserve we offer our courses to buddy-pairs/couples and have priced our courses accordingly.

Drift Diver

Currents. Some love it, some hate it - all other simply deal with it. Wouldn’t you feel a lot better if you know what to do if you end up in a current that is too strong for you to swim into? Bonaire is not famous for strong currents but that does not mean we can prepare you for it. Even when there are no currents, going with the flow and exiting the water at a different spot than entering it does require a little training and some planning. Let us introduce you to drift-diving. A great way to explore even more of the reef!

The Drift Diver Specialty includes 2 dives and takes you a little less than one day.

Night Diver

If you like to go out on night dives without a dive professional guiding you we recommend doing the Night Dive Specialty. This specialty prepares you how to navigate better in the dark and it prepares you what to do in case your light stops working. Of course does this specialty includes all kinds of learning moments on the fun things in the dark too, including, but not limited to, finding sleeping Parrotfish and witnessing how the Trumpetfish hides at night. Did you ever see an Octopus or a Moray Eel hunting for their dinner? The night dive specialty includes 3 dives spread out over 2 nights.

AWARE Fish Identification

Everybody loves looking at fish and likes to share with other divers what they have seen during your dives. If you still describe fish as “that large silvery one that looks like a shark”, or “that cute spotted one”, or “the mid-sized black-and-white one with the horizontal stripes on the tail”  it is about time you learn a little more about the underwater life on general and fish-life in particular. What are their names? Where do they live? How do they react on divers? Learn how to recognize fish species and get to know more about how to safely interact with life underwater.

The Fish ID Specialty includes 2 dives and takes you a little less than one day. To guarantee the quality dive training you deserve we offer our courses to buddy-pairs/couples and have priced our courses accordingly.

Enriched Air/Nitrox Diver

For most beginning divers the limiting factor on doing long dives is the time your tank-fill lasts. Only divers that can relax during their dives and have proper buoyancy control and that can control their breathing notice that air-consumption is not the limiting factor anymore. Your no-decompression limit is. If you want to extend your bottom time anyway you may want to consider changing the gas your breathe. If you use Nitrox (enriched air) instead of regular air you will absorb less nitrogen which results in you being able to stay under water longer. All it takes is a 4 hour theoretical course that teaches you how to apply your new dive limits in a safe way and how to plan your new way of diving in a safe way. Contact us today if you like to gain bottom-time. TIP 1: Benefit from the FREE upgrade to diving endless Nitrox for the rest of your dive trip when doing the course at GOOODive. TIP 2: Benefit from the special offer we currently run on combining the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty and the Enriched Air Specialty!

Coral Restoration Diver

What would you say if we tell you there is a course these days that teaches you how to grow corals? It is true and the best thing is, that it is a hands-on course and not just a theoretical one. Spread out over 3 dives you will be part of the Bonaire Coral Restoration Foundation and you will learn how to behave in a coral nursery and how to maintain one. You will learn how to prune corals and how to actually plant them in our nursery AND on the reef. This specialty is THE absolute best option you have if you would like to give back to the ocean and if you like to help restoring the reef. Be fascinated by the wonders of coral nurseries and become a certified Coral Restoration diver. Curious? Like to see it first? Take a discovery dive or snorkel trip to the coral nursery. The Coral Restoration Diver Specialty includes 3 dives and takes about 2 full days.
